LatinSummer Faculty & Staff: How to Apply

Step 1: Online Application

Fill out the Faculty & Staff Online Application by February 15, 2013. On your application, you will need to provide contact information for two references, who know you personally and can speak on your behalf. Once you have started your application online, there is no way to save it and return to it later. We suggest that you compose your answers to the questions on the application in a word processing program and paste them into the application when you are ready to submit it to the Institute for consideration.

N.B. While you may apply for multiple programs, you must meet the program-specific requirements for each program to which you apply. (Please read carefully the special notes for out-of-area applicants.) You might only be selected for one program.

If you have limited access to the internet, you may contact the Institute for a paper application.

Step 2: Transcript

For your application to be considered, you must submit an official transcript from your current school. The transcript must be faxed on or before February 15, 2013, so make sure to plan enough time for your school to process your request for a transcript. Have your school fax it to (413) 502-3619.

Step 3: Recommendations

You must specify at least one of your references to submit a short letter of recommendation on your behalf. N.B. When you submit your application, we will email information to each reference whom you expect to submit a recommendation. Note that your references will not be able to submit a recommendation until you have submitted your application, although they may compose it beforehand. Be sure to apply early so that they will have time to submit their recommendation before the deadline (February 15, 2013).
