Ms. Skye Shirley, Instructor
Newton Country Day School (Newton, Massachusetts)

Skye Shirley teaches Latin and Classical Roots to middle school students at Newton Country Day School and is currently studying in the Latin and Classical Humanities Masters Program at UMass Boston. She runs spoken Latin groups in the area and is passionate about women's history.

Mr. Gregory Stringer, Instructor
Burlington High School (Burlington, Massachusetts)

Gregory Stringer teaches Latin at Burlington High School in Burlington, MA. He holds Master's degrees in Latin and Medieval History and spent almost a decade living in Italy as a tour guide of the monuments and museums of Rome.

Mr. Matthew D. Webb, Coordinator
Public Schools of Brookline (Brookline, Massachusetts)

Mr. Webb holds a Master's Degree in Teaching Latin and Classical Humanities. He teaches Latin and Classical studies to students in Brookline, Massachusetts, a diverse, mixed urban / suburban community bordering the city of Boston. This fall, he will begin working towards a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies in Educational Administration at the University of Massachusetts Boston. Matthew is the Executive Director and Director of Teacher Programs for Ascanius: The Youth Classics Institute. In addition to having studied in Rome himself, Matthew has led several study tours to Rome with students and adults since 2004. He has brought Latin and Classical studies to elementary and middle schoolers for over a decade via workshops, summer camps, and the classroom setting. He has delivered numerous presentations on incorporating Classical studies at the K-8 levels, while also authoring or editing several publications on the subject.
